NEWSLETTER NO. 1
Greetings. Welcome, everyone, to Looking Up's first newsletter update! Newsletters will be posted after every moon has passed, and will contain everything from plot information to Clan gossip. Make sure to pay attention whenever one is posted, so that you know what's going on around the site!
Aging your cats. The newsletter is not only a source of information and gossip, but also important for another purpose. It is required that everyone make a post in the newsletter to confirm that they have read it and updated their cats' ages according to the passing moon. If your cat was accepted before the Gathering started, they are now one moon older; make sure to keep track of your cats ages as the moons progress!
Clan positions. Cats of all ranks are currently being accepted throughout the four Clans! Elders of all Clans would be a welcome addition, and your first elder is free, so put your muse to work and add a senior member to your favorite Clan! ThunderClan has a noticeable lack of she-cats, ShadowClan's nursery is currently empty, and both WindClan and RiverClan could use a few more apprentices. Also, take a look at the Adoption Center for cats who currently need good homes.
CLAN NEWS
A peaceful Gathering. Looking Up's first Clan Gathering was a smashing success! Every Clan was able to attend, and so far tensions are low despite the growing chill in the air. ShadowClan revealed a change in leadership, and all Clans congratulated Rainstar and ShadowClan's new deputy Ivytooth. Apprentices Heathpaw of WindClan and Brownpaw and Dovepaw of ShadowClan joined the ranks of warriors-in-training this moon, and Finchpaw of RiverClan attended the Gathering with a new name; Finchnose.
Leaf-bare begins in earnest. After a nippy, yet tolerable first moon of leaf-bare, the coldest season has finally begun to sink its icy claws into the Clans' forest. Leaf-bare's second moon has begun, bringing with it scarcities of prey and bitter temperatures not fit for any decent living thing. This season promises to be a harsh one; the Clans had better be prepared if they want to get through it with all of their cats alive and well.
Ominous tensions. For the first time in moons of peace, there seems to be some tension between WindClan and ThunderClan, though for now the two leaders are keeping it to themselves. With a ThunderClan warrior's attack and abuse of a WindClan apprentice, what will the future hold for relationships between the two Clans?
