Finchnose I am not distracta- oh look a butterfly! Finchnose dragged the fat young mallard into the camp. The young tom's tail was straight up in the air, displaying his pride. Careful not to trip over his own paws he pulled the bird to the fresh kill pile and dropped it there. Today they would eat well, the whole clan. After all a duck was a large bird. It already had fish and frogs on it, signifying that the warriors had been busy hunting. He decided to keep his meeting with that odd Shadowclan cat to himself. If the rest of the clan knew what had happened, they wouldn't be too happy. Of course, what they didn't know would never hurt them. Or, more importantly, him.

Heatherpaw padded out of the apprentices den, flicking her tail around angrily. The last thing she needed was to be teased by her younger brother when she first woke up in the morning. Lionpaw's annoying behavior was the last straw. She glared at the camp, it didn't seem anyone was really around. The brown tabby she-cat laid her eyes on Finchnose. Padding towards him she decided to stop flicking her tail, other cats could probably sense her anger and she didn't want him asking about it.
"Nice catch" she complimented softly when she was closer.

Finchnose I am not distracta- oh look a butterfly! The tom turned around, flicking his tail. "Oh, hi Heatherpaw." he mewed. He had spent the last moon of his apprenticeship in the den with her. How are you doing this fine morning? I was just off on a hunting patrol." He smiled. "Hey, since I'm a warrior now. I can do some training with you. You look like you need to get rid of some twitches.' He giggled girlishly. "Come on, it'll be fun!" He added, his tail flicking with excitement. He stood up and padded off. "Plus, we can get out of camp before the elders wake up and start complaining."

Heatherpaw's mouth slowly spread into a smile. "Sure" she purred. As she followed him she looked back at the apprentices den. Lionpaw was probably pouting because she yelled at him. Oh well. Heatherpaw couldn't wait to get out of camp again. With the shortage of warriors in RiverClan she hadn't even been assigned a mentor yet. The only time she'd been out of the RiverClan camp was when the Senior warriors took Lionpaw and her out to explore a full moon ago.

Finchnose I am not distracta- oh look a butterfly! "You don't have a Mentor yet, do ya?" Finchnose asked. "You know, I could talk to Palestar about making you my apprentice. I mean I'm only 12 moons. But I know I could do it. Plus, we don't have that many warriors." he flicked his ears back. "Anyway, come on!" He turned and ran towards the trainging area. (Continued elsewhere)
