Just from standing here and, even in the wind, Ivytooth could catch the tiniest whiffs of mice and, if she sniffed long enough, the now stale scent of a ThunderClan patrol. It was easy to catch whiffs of them, being so close to the border and all. But, then again, she wasn't training herself, now was she? No, this was for Snowpaw.[/ul]

Snowpaw Life is the flower for which love is the honey Snowpaw turned around and looked at his mentor. It was windy, not the best condition for him to be out in. Well, at least his cold was finally gone. He sneezed a little. Well mostly gone. He looked up and faced into the wind, his tail twitching. "I smell Thunderclan he mewed. "But they've been gone for a while." The wind shifted and carried a fresher and much more threatening scent towards the two cats. "I also smell dog..." he stopped and looked behind the Deputy. "Ivytooth..." He mewed, trembling. A heavy bark filled the air and a large dog bounded out of the bush. Snowpaw puffed himself up and ran towards the dog. It wasn't a vicious dog, it was just the sort of dog that wasn't too bright and thought chasing cats up trees was a fun thing to do.

good. It meant he'd be clumsier at hunting and more complicated battle moves but, Ivytooth was sure with a little work they could work through that. Today they'd work on hunting, tomorrow they could work on battle moves. Yes, that seemed like a relatively good plan. Giving the white tom a scrutinizing look as he sneezed, the she-cat frowned slightly. Was he still not over his cold? Well, oh well, he'd get over it with time. Nodding as he mentioned ThunderClan, the she-cat glanced towards the border, not too far off. ”Good, you smell ThunderClan because the border is just a ways away.” She paused, thinking her words over. ”If you ever smell them any closer though, you should come and tell Rainstar or myself, understood?” She shot the apprentice a look. ”We don't want them inching off any of our territory.”As the apprentice spoke again, the slender deputy opened her mouth to cut him off but, stopped short as a sharp bark echoed through the area. A dog? They weren't usually here unless it was greenleaf... What were the twolegs doing out here so early? Letting out a startled gasp as Snowpaw bounded towards the dog, Ivytooth growled and barreled herself into the apprentice, hopefully knocking him over and out of the dog's way. The slender she-cat hissed towards the dog, back arching and fur standing on ends. The dog yelped and ran off. They were lucky. Turning around on her apprentice, the she-cat let out an aggravated hiss, her eyes blazing and her fur standing on end with rage. ”Are you an IDIOT?” She snarled, tail lashing back and forth in anger. ”You could of gotten yourself killed! You could of gotten us both killed! Letting out a hiss, the she-cat's eyes narrowed on the poor tom. ”You never run towards a dog, do you understand?”Oh he was going to be picking ticks off the elders for moons because of this.[/ul]

Snowpaw Life is the flower for which love is the honey He watched as the dog ran off, then pulled himself to his feet. He blinked at her as she began to yell and his ears drooped. "But i was scared that it was going to hurt you." he mewed, his ears flicking back. "I... I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I... I had let that happen." he looked away then sighed. "But I understand." he mewed. "It was a foolish thing to do." He looked down at his paws. They were still big for his body, a sign that he wasn't done growing. He would likely keep growing until he was around the size of a fox. Right now he looked like a small white badger, form a distance at least. He flicked his tail and looked at her, his tail drooping. He looked the very picture of repentance.

had been scared that he was going to get eaten! Flattening her ears against the back of her head, the she-cat drew in a calming breath, trying to calm the storm that was her rage. He could of gotten killed! How could he be so mousebrained? Sighing, the slender deputy shook her head and shot Snowpaw a once over. ”It doesn't matter if you thought I was going to get hurt, you need to think ahead, not for the moment.” Pot don't call the kettle black. Sure, she was being a bit hypocritical, her being one of the more impulsive clan members and all- But, still. Nodding to the apprentice, the she-cat snorted. ”You're right, it was.” Stepping back, the she-cat shot a glance to the bushes and then back to Snowpaw. ”Now, to make up for that, you're not going back to camp until you have enough prey to feed the rest of the apprentices. And that was that.[/ul]

Hi Mystic,
I've looked over this thread due to a request from Sydney, and there are a few things that I just want to point out, to make roleplaying more enjoyable for both you and the people you thread with. It's come to my attention that you seem to be a bit confused about how to roleplay your own cat. I shall attempt to enlighten you.- No 7 moon old apprentice is going to tower over his fully-grown mentor so much that he dwarfs her. He may be a large tom, but he's still young.
- Campgrounds are closed in the winter, so there's no reason to be running into a Twoleg dog there.
- Any full-grown cat slamming forcefully into another cat, regardless of age or size, will impact them and cause them to stagger at least. In the case of Snowpaw, who is still young, he would certainly be knocked over.
- Snowpaw has not even been training for two moons yet. Bird-hunting is rather advanced, not something an apprentice of his age (and alleged clumsiness) would be able to accomplish without a stroke of extreme luck. There is also no reason for any bird to be walking around obliviously in their vicinity if there was a noisy dog in the area.
I expect your further posts to reflect your newfound understanding of Warriors, roleplaying, and the world that they take place in.

Snowpaw Life is the flower for which love is the honey He sighed and shook himself. "Is it just me or did that overgrown drooler smell like the horseplace?" He asked. "It must live there... stupid dog." He waited while she lectured him, closing his eyes in boredom. Now he had to go find prey for all the apprentices. Of course that meant him, his brother Dovepaw and Darkpaw. He sighed and padded off, head down. Where was he going to find that prey. There was pretty much nothing around. He walked off, heading further into the woods away from his mentor. If she was yelling at him he wasn't going to listen. He had to find that prey. Not that he was gong to.
