Specklestorm sighed and looked up at the sky. She was pretty sure Rainkit was sleeping in the nursery, along with her other two kits. Why has Starclan given her kits like Finchnose and Rainkit. Not just one or the other too, but both of them. They egged one another on to defy her, and generally cause trouble. Of course it didn't help that her son hadn't really been punished for his disobedieance. She turned and looked at the nursery. In one moon her kits would be apprentices. Then Rainkit would be someone else's problem. She made a note to talk to Palestar about the right mentor for her most disobediant kit. There would be need of someone to put the little brat in line.

"I hope my next litter is more well behaved." Specklestorm mewed, looking at the full moon. "I really do."
