Description:
Eaglekit isn't a particularly impressive cat. Quite simply, he is an average cat, both in build and pelt. Not large, nor small, his build is that of any other WindClan cat: lithe and long-bodied, with lean muscles great for running or chasing. His legs are a perfectly normal length, and the back ones are stronger than the front, making him a skilled jumper. Like any other WindClan cat, he is speedy enough to chase and catch rabbits and deal quick enough blows in battle so that he can slip away before the opponent knows what him them. Eaglekit's ears seem a bit large in proportion to his head, but he's still growing, and he'll probably grow into them one day. His tail, thin, and, again, average in length, doesn't seem to express as much emotion as some cats' do, rather just tends to droop toward the ground as if it takes too much effort to hold it in the air.
While not particularly handsome, Eaglekit could still be considered good-looking, with short, sleek tabby fur, still a bit downy from kithood. Actually, he's an exact replica of his father, Hawkfang, with a base coat of a tannish-brown color, much darker stripes ranging in color from dark brown to black overlapping his fur in a tabby pattern, crisscrossing back and forth across his pelt. The colors fade a bit on the inside of his legs and his stomach. His body is covered in this stripey tabby pattern, except for his chest, paws, and chin. In these areas the base color and stripes fade away to nonexistence, leaving only a clean white. Add in a pair of dark amber eyes, which show emotion clearly, and you've got Eaglekit.
Personality:
A bit like her mother, personality-wise, Eaglekit is a quiet kit who does not seem to talk much. He, too, is not shy, nor antisocial. Instead, he is a thinker, not wanting to fill the air with useless chatter. This means that when he actually does speak up, its probably best you listen, because he, unlike other kits his age, doesn't speak unless he has something to say. Actually, he seems very much unlike a kit, steering clear of playfighting and kit games.
Although quiet, Eaglekit is not unkind. Really, he's a nice cat. With his mother's influence, its hard to be a naughty or mean kit. She raised him with manners, so he is a very polite and respectful young tom, obeying orders of those with a higher ranking than himself. This doesn't mean he always listens to instuctions - he can tell if something is foolish or mousebrained and generally steers clear of those instances. However, nothing will prevent him from leaping selflessly into situations where close friends and family members are in danger. He is very protective of his friends and family and would put them before him in an instant without a moment's hesitation.
A serious tom, Eaglekit takes things a very straight-forward and literal way. He doesn't understand sarcasm and has little to no sense of humor. Only his closest friends and his mother can get him to make a joke - or even laugh at one - and then its a surprising thing. Around cats he is close to, he open up more than when around his Clanmates, becoming more chatty. Just because he has no understanding of sarcasm doesn't mean that he is not intelligent. On the contrary, he is a very smart kit. He is a quick learner, and will one day make an obedient apprentice and a good warrior.
History:
Born one greenleaf morning, Eaglekit is an only kit. Sadly, he never got to meet his father, although his mother, Silverflower, speaks of him lovingly, when she speaks of him at all. That's a good enough reason for Eaglekit to like him, because he loves her mother. She says his father, Hawkfang, looked exactly like him. He clings to these things because he knows so little else about his deceased father. He's built up a strong friendship with another kit in the nursery, a she-kit called Briarkit. His life so far has been relatively uneventful. His mother has raised him, being strong for him despite the sadness he knows she feels from the death of his mother. Silverflower is Eaglekit's only kin, and he trusts her with his life, as he should since she is his mother. In return, he would do anything for her without a second thought, no matter how mousebrained. He may also do this for Briarkit, too, but its too soon to tell.
