Description;;
This tom is pure black with no markings what so ever. Amber eyes and a pink nose are the only things that offset his darkness. Dawnstripe is large with massive paws, sharp claws and long legs. All of these elements make him a great battler, but his long tail offsets his balance. He tends to struggle with it, though he has made a lot of adjustments to this problem. A long battle scare can clearly be seen from a long distance away (More about it in history.) His ear has a tuft in it like most cats who have either gone into battle or just did something wrong.
Personality;;
Aggressive and mean are two words to describe this massive tom. He never seems to smile, but he does have a little soft side in his heart. Although he is harsh, the tom seems to be nicer to queens and kits, and is very aggressive towards apprentices. One thing he despises are apprentices. They seem to have no respect for older warrior and bounce around as if they were still kits. But that aren't and they always need to grow up. This tom barely has any friends in the clan and doesn't really care. He loves to go hunting out alone, since he loves to climb trees. If he is in a border patrol or hunting, he usually stays in front of the group and usually stays away from other cats. He doesn't believe in "true love" even if one of his "friends" does find it. He doesn't plan what-so-ever to get a mate and doesn't plan to have kits. He hates going into the medicine cat's den since it always makes him feel "wimpy" and weak. Dawnstripe, as you can tell, is very loyal to his clan and would be the first to loose his life for it.
History;;
Dawnstripe cannot help who he is though through everything that has happened throughout his life.
When he was a kit, his mother was hesitant on his name, trying to choose between dawn and dark. Dawn because of his eyes that seemed to capture the light when the sun sets or dark for his pure black pelt that would clearly define him. With the help from his father, Hollowclaw, they picked dawn for his name.
Since he was the only kit who survived being brought into the world, his mother wouldn’t keep her paws to herself. Heatherstep always kept one eye on him and never him go out of his sight or any of the queens. His mother basically never left the nursery and when she did, she got water and maybe food.
As Dawnstripe grew older, he got his apprentice name of Dawnpaw and began training to become the best warrior he could. Because of his isolated kit hood, the tom loved to go out and run around in the woods, getting fresh air and into trouble. He couldn’t help this since he wasn’t able to do anything through his younger moons.
This tom was always disciplined to be nice and kind to other cats no matter what their age is. This didn’t work out for the tom and he began to become a moody cat that stayed angry at every cat for a long time. His father was glad the tom toughened up, but his mother was furious at him and decided she wasn’t going to talk to him.
During his apprentice moons, Dawnstripe grew great with battling while his hunting skills struggled. Balancing was his one problem for hunting and he usually missed the mouse by jumping to either side.
After he started to change into a quiet, lonely, aggressive cat, basically no one seemed to talk to him not matter what the situation was.
When he got his warrior name, the tom got Dawnstripe for his speed and battling. Once he got his warrior name, the tom has been silent, only talking when spoken to but the words that come out of his mouth aren’t that nice.
During the great battle, Dawnstripe fought side by side with his father Hollowclaw who payed no attention to his mother, Heatherstep. Soon after the battle was over, they found her body laying in a puddle of blood. Hollowclaw grieved for days while Dawnstripe only bowed his head once in respect for the decreased warrior.

A large black pelt slowly shifted as Dawnstripe began to awake from sleep and to face the real world. No dreams had come to him only darkness, just like every time he closed his eyes. His amber eyes were dull and his paws were numb with sleep. The tom had to raise his head and stay still for a couple of moments before he could move his paws with them almost collapsing.
He gathered up his muscles that rippled underneath his fur and slowly stood up, waiting for a moment since dizziness came to him. This was average wake up for the tom, since he usually slept the same way and did the same thing to wake up. Slowly, the dizziness disappeared and he began to slowly pad out of the den without a word. His lips where sowed together, not ready to comprehend with his mind to speak anything.
His mouth watered as the fresh-kill pile’s variety of scents slowly drifted over to him, which made his switch his direction towards it, easily defining his hunger. The tom quickly sniffed his way into the pile of prey and quickly picked up a plump mouse and padded away, not really wanting to bump into a cat that wanted to chat off his ear.
He made his way towards the spot near the entrance where he usually always sat and watched cats slowly drift out and in of the camp. Setting the gray mouse down, the tom laid down next to it and started to eat. As he did so, his eyes slowly swiveled around the camp, making note of who was up and about and who was lying around the camp lazily.
Once the tom finished with his meal and felt that his stomach was satisfied, he pushed himself up with his front paws to put himself into a sitting position. The tom now was wide awake and could probably go for a long while without sleep.
