Description;
Lightpool is a rather curious taupe colored lady, smooth and sleek like a tusk of ivory. Her pelt is soft and thick, like down on a newborn, but particularly thicker. When it's clean, which it is usually kept in flawless pristine condition, her pelt is bright and quite pretty. At times, when she's illuminated in the perfect lighting, the she-cat could be mistake for being as white and crisp as snow. In fact, her underbelly is a few shades lighter than her exposed areas, looking almost bleached in comparison to the rest of her blonde fur. Her eyes, a cool jade green, contrast handsomely with her pale fur. Because of her luminous pelt, Lightpool sometimes faces a small challenge during hunting sessions. However, she's working to use her color to her advantage. Oftentimes, she will slink in the shadows with her pelt half-hidden and half-illuminated. The dappled effect will sometimes camouflage the young hunter, but she has yet to perfect the art.
In regards to structure, Lightpool's frame is average enough. She's not extraordinarily long or tall and she was born without natural special abilities. She's rather thickset, but she isn't completely unfortunate looking because of it. Her muscles are compact, showing only briefly beneath her plush fur when she moves with haste. Due to her ordinary structure, Lightpool has had to work hard to earn her warrior name, particularly with such a cursed bright pelt. Her legs are thick, with thorough lean muscle. All in all, Lightpool is a very solid she-cat.
Personality;
By being around her for a brief amount of time, one might assume the young warrior is anti-social, or worse, stupid. However, Lightpool is constantly thinking of something or other and she's really quite smart. Since she was a kit, the she-cat had always been a quiet one. She is capable of shouldering her end in a conversation, but she will most likely not be the engager. She usually shies away from confrontation, especially with her Clan-mates. She's a bit timid around most cats and she doesn't speak her opinion unless asked. When she speaks, she selects her words with care and thought. She isn't mysterious, per say, but neither is she an open book. Contrary to popular belief, Lightpool actually enjoys company. Although she will probably not strike up a conversation and she isn't much of a chatty Kathy, she takes a small pleasure in hearing others talk and being near another warm body.
She is also very devout in her faith in StarClan, although she will not rage on a non-believer due to her distaste of confrontation. She's very slow to anger, but somehow quite quick to feel insulted. She will not admit to being hurt and she often feels ashamed of herself, but she is usually very slow to recover from an insult. Although it takes a load to agitate her, Lightpool can become fierce once she has reached her limit. She's sly with her words when she's angry, using them like the familiar weapons she is accustomed to.
History;
Lightkit had a normal, comforting kit-hood. Nearly five minutes before her birth, a stillborn tom had been born first. A few heartbeats after she emerged, another kit followed close behind. The third, and also the last, kit was another tom. He was christened Cloudkit, due to the fluffy white down on his wriggling body. The two kits grew quickly within the nursery walls with only each other and their mother for company. As the kittens grew, it soon became apparent that Cloudkit wasn't normal. When the kits wrestled, Cloudkit's squeals could be heard all over camp. At first, Brightwing laughed and shrugged it off, patting the kits back into the nursery. However, Cloudkit didn't seem to notice when his kin called for him. Palefur deemed him rebellious at the get-go and would often bring him back by his scruff, a wry smile pulling at his lips.
It wasn't long before it became clear what was ailing the young cat. He wasn't the rebellious young tom his father had been expecting and priding. Cloudkit was deaf. His bright, crystal blue eyes and beautiful white pelt should have been an indication in the beginning, but what mother would want to see a fault in her newborn? As soon as Brightwing was informed of her son's deformity, she crumpled. Lightpool was too young to be able to remember it clearly, but she vaguely recalls the day her mother's shoulders began to slump and her whiskers dropped.
The incident occurred when the kits were a little over four moons old. Cloudkit had wandered outside sometime near moonhigh one night, leaving his mother and sister slumbering peacefully in the den. Nobody could be sure what happened to the little white kit, but he disappeared overnight. His scent had been traced to an area just outside of the camp (near the rear of the nursery) and seemed to vanish from there. When Brightwing and Palefur discovered their only son had vanished, they were heartbroken. Lightkit was anxious and disheartened by her parents' behavior. "Daddy, where's Cloudkit? Daddy?"
Lightkit bore the news bravely. Her brother had left and joined StarClan above. However, Lightkit continued believing that her brother was near her. Any time that she could shed her parents, the young she-kit would chatter to her deceased sibling. No other cats in the clan were aware of Lightkit's strange behavior and she kept it that way, only talking to her brother when she was certain that she was alone. Although she didn't know the full measures of what had happened, just the mention of his name would make her parents sad. She didn't fully know why, but she knew it was wrong to tell them that she talked to her StarClan brother. "I wish I could see you, Cloudkit."
Around six moons old, as was tradition, Lightkit was made an apprentice. Her mentor, an easy-going tom called Foxbound, was a delight for the new apprentice. He was young, still a fresh warrior, and she found that she could relate to the long-legged tom. He taught her the skills that she would need with a bit of his own flavor twirled in. She learned more than valuable moves from the older male. He shared his faith and views with his apprentice and, through her training, they became friends. With her training going so well, it wasn't long before her hunting assessment loomed before her. As soon as the assessment began, Lightpaw cleared her head and calmed her nerves. It wasn't long before the assessment had ended and Foxbound was beaming in pride at her catch.
Once she had been named a warrior, Lightpool was always quick to volunteer for things and performed her duties without complaint. True, she was only a fresh warrior, but she was eager to show her clan what she was capable of.

I think I just inadvertently fell in love with her made-up mentor.
