Description:
Cherryfur is, to put it simply, a red tabby she-cat. No other way around it, she is reddish colored with darker red stripes covering her body, head, and even on her legs, and well everywhere else you look. Apart from the red, the only other color you will see on this she-cat is a white/cream color. This is found on her muzzle, and stretches from there, down to her stomach, and becomes scarce as it goes past her front paws. It, the white pattern, turns into an almost orange color, cream and red mixed, between her tail and the white/cream color. Speaking of her tail, it is just your average, run of the mill kind of tail, it's average size and length. Both her nose and the insides of her ears are a light, healthy pink color. Her paw pads, like her nose and ears, are pink, but aren't quite as light, they are a bit of a darker pink. Her whiskers are wispy and short, and look amusing when wet, being straight and appearing longer. Size-wise, she isn't the largest cat, but definitely isn't too small. She's not quite what one would call average size, just a fraction under the average. But who really cares how big or small a cat is? If they can fight, and hunt does it really matter? Besides, what she doesn't have in size she makes up for in muscles, being quite a strong she-cat. Finally we come to Cherryfur's eyes, the beautiful light green pools that sparkle and gaze into your own eyes, giving the impression she is always watching. Despite all the battles she has come in contact with, Cherryfur doesn't have any serious scars. They heal, and the fur comes back, leaving barely a trace after a couple moons of healing. The only real scars she has are in her past, not that she knows too much about them.
Personality:
Cherryfur is, despite all her faults, a very good deputy. She isn't afraid to take charge of situations, and doesn't back down from a fight easily. Surrender is just hard for her to accept, and even hates the word. She feels you must fight for what you believe in, and what you think is right, sometimes there may be consequences, but at least you felt you did right.
Her temper is part of her charm, it can be set off very easily if something doesn't go her way, or the way she was expecting. She's no perfectionist, but she does like things done right and well. It's best to stay on Cherryfur's good side, let's just keep it at that.
She doesn't take her job as serious as she probably should, not that she abuses her power, she just has issues with staying serious. It's hard for Cherryfur to keep a straight face when someone is telling her and actually acting serious about it. It's not as if she is trying to be mean or cruel to someone, she just can't help it. And sometimes the end result is harsh words, but it's life, you can't expect it to always go the way you think it will.
Cherryfur has a tendency to come off a bit harsh, but she doesn't mean to, it's just her. She may be a pretty she-cat but she never has really taken an interest in toms, she always felt like she should do her duty as a warrior first, and that if a tom so happened to come in her life it was fine. But a tom has yet to come in her life so all of her time and energy is dedicated to the clan. Maybe a tom could calm her down, it wouldn't take much to open up this she-cat's heart with the right someone. Who knows, maybe he will bring back her troublesome side.
She's not really one to like kits too much, she enjoys apprentices, though. Kits are too much of a nuisance and bother others, and tend to get in the way, while apprentices are the ones to teach and train, the future warriors of the clan. You'll never see Cherryfur in the nursery unless it is something absolutely necessary.
*pokes rp sample* She's pretty much the same as she was as a kit.

History:
Cherrykit was born into a litter of two kits to parents of different clans. Her mother, Heatherfeather, was of ShadowClan, while her father, Crowsnow, was of RiverClan. The two had fallen in love one day at a gathering and before they knew it, were expecting kits. The two cats were out and about, taking a stroll on the border of their clans when the kits came. Heatherfeather gave birth to two healthy kits, a tom and a she-kit, both having ginger fur. Heatherfeather was torn, not knowing what to do. Crowsnow wanted one of the kits, and she wanted only to make him happy. So the two kits were split, the tom going with his mother to ShadowClan, and the she-kit going to RiverClan with her father.
And so begins the story of Cherrykit in RiverClan. She was given to a queen, who had three moon old kits of her own, losing one of them the day before Cherrykit was born, and was happy to raise Cherrykit as her own. And so Cherrykit began to play with the other kits in the nursery as she grew, always wanting to be the leader of the group, and cause the most trouble. She was the hard-worker, the one who knew what she wanted and didn't want anything less. She may have been a little pushy, but she made sure she won. Her older litter mates loved her, always treating her like a sister, and she knew no better. And she would have Crowsnow visiting her all the time, telling her so many fun stories.
And soon came time for Cherrykit to be apprenticed. She was given to a serious and very strict warrior, Loophole. Training progressed well, and she proved to be much like her father in strength and speed. Cherrypaw was out training one day when one of her littermates/best friend, Penguinpaw, came running toward her telling her the worst news she could ever imagine. Her father had been killed, his body washed away by the river. Her paws became so weak that Cherrypaw was carried back to camp by her mentor and best friend. With no body to mourn, Cherrypaw would never see her father's face again. It felt like time was standing still and if not for the support of her 'mother' and littermates, there was no way she would have been able to cope with such devastating news. Cherrypaw recovered somewhat after a moon or so, deciding to honor her father by finishing her training and being a warrior like he was.
Cherrypaw was named Cherryfur within the next couple moons, and proved to be an excellent warrior. She had watched her littermates become warriors a couple moons before she did, and envied them, as she was once again without them by her side. When she finally became Cherryfur, her littermates had been the first to congratulate her, and make her nest right beside theirs. They were together again, and epic adventures were in their futures. The four were always known for getting into trouble, and were back to apprentice duties the majority of the time. Penguinprancer had fallen in love with a tom, Snortweed, and that had settled the she-cat down. Cherryfur felt lost without her best friend, and even though she had Deeptoot and Bigass, it still wasn't the same.
Cherryfur had somewhat stopped all of her troublesome days, and it seemed like just in time. Acidpool was the deputy at the time, and he soon fell into hysterics, saying that he was starving to death, that there was no food available, even with the apprentices showing him the fresh-kill pile was full. Slowly the tom went more and more insane, and died from his insanity. The leader announced Cherryfur the new deputy of the clan. This was a shock to many, the former troublesome cat surely wasn't fit to one day lead the clan. But so far Cherryfur has done quite well, and her troublesome side hasn't come up in moons.

"Just a little closer, little more.....little more. Good, stay right there and don't move!" Little Cherrykit was at it again, playing with her littermates. The three had recently become apprentices, leaving Cherrykit alone in the nursery. They hadn't been able to play with her as often as they did, and it had become far less fun for the little red kit. Mountaindew was a nice queen, but she wasn't a kit, and didn't know all the fun games. After her littermates had moved out of the nursery and into the apprentice's den, three moon old Cherrykit had resorted to leading the other kits in the nursery into doing whatever came to mind. Penguinpaw, Deeppaw, and Bigpaw had to go along with her, there was no other option, Cherrykit wouldn't allow it.
The kits (and her littermates) that she had rounded up for her game were now in front of her, as she paced back and forth. "Listen up, I'm only saying this once. We are gonna play a new game, and it is the bestest game ever, and if I hear one complaint I will rake your eyes out of your face with my tail." Cherrykit glared at each of them, sending out the usual message, to not stab her in the back. At the moment she may have been the youngest out of the group of assembled cats, but she wasn't going to back down, she would be leader of this expedition. Wrapping her tail around her paws the little kit began to think of her plan. What would be the best way to make this work?
"We're gonna sneak out of camp, but in pairs. So for those of you who are braindead, that means two of us go at a time. We are all gonna go in different directions, and whoever doesn't get caught will be the winner." Cherrykit began, explaining the first part of her plan. "Now, split off and pick where you will be leaving from. No pair can leave from the same place. The more creative you are, the more points you will get, and the less likely I am to shovel out your eyes." The little ginger kit was cute, there was no doubt about that, but her mind could be a very ugly place.
And this is where Amber will stop in the story because after this she can't find a good stopping point, and doesn't want to be killed for having someone read her very long post.
