POSTING ADOPTABLE CATS
Currently the adoption board is a mess. And Cai hates mess.
So read these rules. Understand them. Clean up the mess. e.e
[/b] Do not post adoptable cats willy-nilly. Arbitrary, unrelated cats who have nothing to do with your - or anyone's - existing cats ae probably not going to be adopted by anyone, so only make cats for whom you have an actual reason for wanting them to be made.
1.
2.[/b] If you have a cat you want somebody else to make, you post the details you have in a new thread in this board using the correct bio outline. It's entirely up to you how much you give the adopter; it can be a bare skeleton of a bio with just a few adjectives, or it can be a detailed bio. It's also up to you how much you let the adopter change the bio. Make sure you make what can and cannot be changed clear in the original post as well as any important features you want for the cat.
2b.[/b] Once somebody posts a completed bio to adopt the cat you posted, you may look at the roleplay sample and decide whether or not it's a good representation of the cat you had in mind. You may not critique the rest of the bio and may only comment on the roleplay sample.
3.[/b] If nobody has displayed interest in an adoptable cat within one month of it being posted, the thread will be deleted, so make sure you save whatever you want in your own cat log if you don't want to lose it.
4.[/b] When an adopter has been confirmed and the bio is fully accepted into a Clan by an admin, mark this in the title of the thread. Admins know to delete those which have "ADOPTED" or words to that effect in the title. Note: Doing this means the thread will be deleted immediately.
5.[/b] If more than one person posts a bio for the cat you've put up for adoption, it's up to you which one takes it. Just pick the person you think has made the most in-character bio and roleplay example. Staff members will only intervene in case of dispute.

ADOPTING ADOPTABLE CATS
Read this if you want a) to survive and b) to adopt a cat[/center]
[/b] If you want to adopt a cat in the adoptable section, you must first know exactly what the creator is asking for. Then, you must fill in the bio which is given to you and then you post it in the original thread so the creator can look at it and decide whether or not it fits their criteria.
1.
2.[/b] Just expressing interest is no guarantee that the cat will be yours. Whoever posts a suitable bio and is acknowledged by the creator first will get the cat, and until a bio is posted, the cat in question is fair game. That means just saying "Hmm, I might adopt Brownbutt" is not a solid claim. Even if you've said you'd like to adopt a cat, if somebody else posts a bio before you, then they are entitled to the cat. Of course, the creator may reserve an adoptable for someone by marking it as RESERVED in the title.
3.[/b] Roleplay examples must be included. It doesn't matter if it's your first, second or twenty-seventh cat. You have to include one to show the creator and the admins that you can capably write for the character.
4.[/b] If more than one person posts a bio to adopt a cat, then the creator of the thread must decide who gets to keep it. Admins will only intervene if disputes arise.
5.[/b] Once the bio has been created, posted in the original thread and acknowledged by the creator, then it must be posted in the Character Creation board to wait for approval just like any new cat.
