KITTING
If your character has found a mate and wishes to have kits, fill out the form below and post it in a new thread. If you're unsure of what to fill in an area, feel free to ask an admin and they will help you out. Depending on the time of year and the number of queens already in the nursery, your mother-to-be may not get pregnant for a few moons, or she may get pregnant right away.
Once she conceives, a birth date will be set and the admins will determine the number, gender, and health of the kits. They will be posted in their parent's kit-request thread once they are born, at which time they will be adopted out by any RPers who wish to do so. Parents do not have first rights to adopting their own children, however they may name their children if they don't want to leave it up to the kits' RPers.

THE KITS
The number, gender, health, and appearance of a mated pair's kits will be determined by a series of dice rolls, which means that the future of your litter is up to random chance! Here's how it works;
Number:1-4, with a -1 modifier for first-time queens. A four-sided die will be rolled to determine the number of kits, or else re-roll if a 5 or 6 is rolled on a six-sided die.
Gender:Even numbers are female.
Odd numbers are male.
Health:1-4 means a healthy kit.
5 means a kit that is sickly.
6 results in a miscarriage.
Pelt:1-2 means the kit takes after its mother.
3-4 means the kit takes after its father.
5-6 means the kit is a nice mix of both its parents.
Eyes:1-2 means the kit has its mother's eyes.
3-4 means the kit has its father's eyes.
5-6 means the kits eye colour is a mix of its parents'.
