XXXName: Birchkit
Age:5 Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: WindClan?
Rank: Kit
Mate/Crush:----
Kin:
Parents:
Siblings:
Briarkit (Syd, Sister)
Beechkit (Amber, Sister)
Description: Kits always seem to carry that kind of chubby, fluffed-up look for quite a while after they're born and Birchkit is, of course, no different. Right now he seems like a furry little ball of kitten-flub, but one day it'll develop into hardened muscle, for that is the kind of cat Birchkit wants to be. His fur is kit-soft and fluffed out, the texture pleasing and comfortable. In color, it is a soft brown, that looks frosted over, giving it a gray-ish appearance. Birchkit's ears are a bit on the small side, and are rounded. His muzzle's just a little short and is tipped with a nose only slightly darker than his pelt. Birchkit's eyes, are a handsome gray-green. In shape, Birchkit's sort of rounded. A round head, rounded ears, a round body and big round paws. Birchkit's tail seems short right now, but like the rest of this handsome little devil, it will grow. His whiskers are the same frosty color that covers his interesting pelt, and they're long, giving him an odd, but interesting look for right now. He's sure to grow into himself soon.
One teensy little detail I might've forgotten to mention. Birchkit has a bit of a stuttering issue.
Personality: Sometimes a cat is different in personality on the surface than they are deep down inside. Birchkit is one of these cats.
On the surface, Birchkit seems apathetic, as if nothing can interest him and nothing really matters. For the sake of a reputation, he acts tough, quiet and careless. It's all a hard-to-notice facade and this is the Birchkit most cats know. His friends see this admirable tom, this tough guy with a quiet attitude. Deep down inside, he's a much different cat. The surface Birchkit is around to keep his "friends", the cats he hangs around with, hanging on. Without this, he fears he'll be alone, unable to make friends on his own.
He really, truly is that way.
If it wasn't for his sister and her "In Crowd", Birchkit would have a very limited social scene. He doesn't say much partially because of his reputation and partially because he has trouble talking to anyone except his parents and siblings. Due to his craftily hidden stutter, Birchkit's very self-conscious. So of course he doesn't speak much to his friends and clan-mates outside of his family. Poor Birchkit just doesn't want to be laughed at and ridiculed. Like most young ones, he wants to be accepted, and if that means lying about himself, he'll do it.
Birchkit is very close to all of his siblings, especially his sister Briarkit. He follows her around in a dutiful way, protective of her and also needy of her presence. She was his first friend and is one of the only cats who know of his "little problem."
History: Not too many moons ago, there lived two cats. They were Oaktail and his pretty little apprentice, Littlepaw. These two were close, seemingly in that almost-creepy sort of way, and spent most of their days together. Sometimes they trained, sometimes they didn't but, no matter what the circumstances or events, they were nearly always together. Littlepaw had quite a large family so was amazed by the one-on-one attention she got from her mentor. To Littlepaw, it was amazing. And Oaktail was smitten with the she-cat from day one. Time progressed and, eventually, Littlepaw became Littlewhisker. She grew from a scrawny apprentice into a beautiful she-cat and, it came as no surprise that Oaktail and Littlewhisker became mates.
Not long after the two became mates, Littlewhisker was sent away to the nursery, expecting her first litter. Her pregnancy and kitting was relatively easy, for a first timer. Two and a half moons later, she had her litter of three little kits. First was a dark gray she-cat they named Beechkit, followed by a dusty gray-brown tom they dubbed Birchkit and, finally, a dark brown she-cat Oaktail named Briarkit. They were quite a pawful, but no one expected anything else.
They've been causing trouble since they were born and it's highly unlikely that will ever change.
