Name: Dovepaw
Gender: She-cat
Age: 7 and 1/2 Moons
Clan: Shadowclan
Rank: Apprentice
Mentor: Bluetail
Love Interest:-----
Kin:
Parents
Pigeonwing (Father, NPC)
Mouse-ear (Mother, NPC)
Siblings
Brownpaw (Sister, Up for Adoption)
Description: Though Dovepaw and her sister have similair elts, they are quite different in build. Where Brownpaw is slim, a tiny little thing, Dovepaw is stockier. She's not blocky or square, but there's more muscle on her. She has the same long legs and body, but there's meat on her bones. Her legs, though ling, aren't thin, but instead are thicker and tipped in rounded paws that hold this stable cat up off the ground. Her head is rounded, with ears that look almost too large for Dovepaw's head. Her muzzle is short and square, with a multitude of whiskers covering it. Her eyes are also rounded, large and circular, with big pupils. Her tail is long, appearing to be almost as long as her body when curled up around her as she lies around. It's also thicker than Brownpaw's, but everything about Dovepaw's build is bigger and stronger-looking than her sister.
There is no doubt about it; Dovepaw is one pretty little che-cat. She knows it, but she doesn't run around flaunting it like some cats would. Most of her pelt is a pretty dove-gray tan, lightening just a bit on her underside and her neck. What makes her really stunning are the markings that dapple her coat along her face, ears, paws and tail. Here, her pelt is marbled with chocolate brown, broken up by paler creams. It's just a simple dappling on her feet, ears and tail, but her facial markings really are rather gorgeous. The bridge of her nose is a dark brown, like dark chocolate. The rest of her muzzle is lighter in color, closer to the base color of Dovepaw's pelt. a mask of milk chocolate brown covers her face, lightening back to the original color of her pelt around her eyes. There are three little dashes of pale cream in between her eyes, which are a pale spring green in color.
Personality:
Blunt and Opinionated, Loyal, Sharp, Energetic, Supportive
Dovepaw, like any other cat, has good points and bad points to her personality. To be frank, she can be really...blunt. She doesn't sugar-coat her words. Dovepaw means what she says, even if others don't like it. If she doesn't like you, she's going to let you know. Everyone lies, but Dovepaw is one to make a little white lie here and there. Even if she does lie, it's not about other cats. She does like to let the truth about her clanmates shine through. Oh, she's blunt, no doubts there. Along with her let-it-out habits, she's a very opinionated cat, and she isn't afraid to let everyone know how she feels.
Dovepaw is a loyal cat. loyal to her clan, loyal to her family, loyal to her friends, and a strong follower of the warrior code. If her father instilled anything in his one daughter's mind, it was that the warrior code is something to be followed exactly. No edits. She'll stand by her friends and her loved ones, despite the issues they may encounter. She won't give up on them or her clan. she'll make a good warrior for her clan, no doubt about it.
She's very energetic, and doesn't like to sleep until it's absolutely necessary. She likes to train, to work, and all she wants to be when she's finally done training is to be the best warrior her clan has ever seen. You may think that this is what basically every apprentice wants, and that may be true, but Dovepaw likes to think she really is going to be one of the best and the brightest in Shadowclan. She puts her heart into everything she does, and doesn't give up until she's got it right.
This little apprentice may put every ounce of her being into her work, but she also puts it into the lives of those she's close to. She supports their endeavors, no matter how big, small or impossible they may seem to be. Like with her training, Dovepaw won't stop until her goals and her friends' goals are finally achieved,
History:
Pigeonwing and Mouse-ear where the last two cats anyone would ever expect to end up as mates. The two had been best friends as apprentices and young warriors, but Mouse-ear's friendship with a scatter-brained kittypet seemed to kill their friendship. Pigeonwing didn't feel his relationship with his friend was in jeopardy; Acasia was a she-cat. He just disliked kittypets, and wouldn't stand for it, For many moons, the two avoided each other and wouldn't talk to each other when forced into the same patrol.
When they two were senior warriors, almost ready to retire to the elder's den, Mouse-ear and Pigeonwing finally reconciled when Acasia was found dead after being hit by a Monster. Pigeonwing helped his old pal through all her grieving. Not long after, Mouse-ear slipped into the Nursery to have her old friend's kits. Six and a half moons ago, Dovekit and her nearly-identical sister Brownkit were born.
Pigeonwing had always wanted daughters. Maybe one, he'd figured he'd get. Two was one big surprise, and he doted and adored his two baby girls. He'd go off and do his duties as a warrior, and would come back to tell Dovekit and Brownkit all sorts of stories. They grew up as two perfectly normal kits, bouncing around the camp like a pair of dapple-coated whirlwinds, making friends and trouble wherever they went.
The two she-cats were only apprenticed a half-moon ago, and have made good progress in the short time they've been training. They seem to be growing apart, and their personalities clash more and more as they grow older. No one knows what life has in store, but Dovepaw is sure to take it head on.
