Name:
Mapletail
Gender:
Tom
Age:
Thirteen Moons
Clan:
ThunderClan
Rank:
Warrior
Apprentice:
Open
Love Interest:
None
Kin:
Brightstorm ~ Mother (Ki) Branchtail ~ Father (NPC)
Oakleaf ~ Sister (NPC)
Birchkit ~ Brother (NPC, Deceased) Cedarkit ~ Sister (Me)
Description: Mapletail looks much like his sister, Oakleaf, just slightly larger. He isn't a big tom, yet he isn't small like his baby sister. He is average sized, with his muscles aiding his stature to look a bit larger, which is why he appears larger than Oakleaf. His pelt is a light sandy brown with darker brown tabby stripes all over his body. The only other color on this tom is white, which can be found on his muzzle. The only difference separating him from Oakleaf, other than size, is his short fur. While both his sisters have long fur (Oakleaf having very long fur), he is singled out with his short fur. His nose is a dark pink color, with an outer lining of a darkish gray. Mapletail has yellow-green eyes, which are identical to Cedarkit’s.
Personality: Mapletail is what most call a goody-goody. He does exactly what he is told and doesn't go against what those who hold authority in the clan say. He has always been a good boy, never one for disobeying his parents or his mentor. He may have been the youngest out of his litter, but he has always been the most responsible. He has a level head and it takes a good bit to make him mad or even just to irritate him. His mother was spoiled with Oakleaf and he, both of them were so calm and quiet and stayed nearby. Now she has Cedarkit to deal with who is always in trouble.
He was easy to teach as an apprentice, always listening to his mentor and practicing whenever he could. It didn't take long for him to be a warrior, and he likes to think following the rules helped him greatly. Rules are made to be followed, not to be broken, this is something Mapletail wishes his little sister would learn. She is too adventurous for her own good, and he doesn't want to have another sibling die, not if he can help it.
The tom is always willing to go on patrol, and when he isn't on patrol he is always trying to do something productive with his time. Mapletail isn't one to just sit around and feel like he is doing absolutely nothing. No, he has to be doing something to help his clan. The only time Mapletail will relax is when he has been on patrol for the day, and his sister is safe in the nursery, sound asleep. That's the only time Cedarkit is harmless, when she is asleep, and knowing that lifts a huge burden off Mapletail's shoulders.
He is also a pacifist, not really one that enjoys a fight. That seemed to skip both of the kits in his litter and went straight into Cedarkit. He prefers hunting over fighting any day, and is scared of hurting someone if he does fight.
History: Mapletail was born into ThunderClan thirteen moons ago to two cats he is proud to call his parents. Born the second of two kits in his parents first litter, Maplekit was bigger than his sister, Oak-kit. The two were close and were glad to have parents that were so attentive. They never had to worry about much in life while in the nursery, and their kit life passed quickly, much to their parents disappointment. Sedgeflower and Branchtail were happy their kits were growing and close to apprenticeship, but their mother would miss them falling asleep at her side.
Maplekit and Oak-kit had quite similar personalities. Neither one of them were too into play-fighting, like most of the other kits in the nursery, they liked other games. Throwing a mossball around was their favorite, and the two kits would play for hours. They both stuck by their mother's side in the nursery, not wanting to explore the world outside unless either she, or their father was there with them.
Soon enough the two were apprenticed, Oakpaw received Bluerobin as a mentor, while Maplepaw received the food loving Redrobin. Their apprentice life went by like most, training with more training. When they reached nine moons, their parents gave birth to a new litter of kits. Once again a tom and a she-cat were born to Sedgeflower and Branchtail. The tom in the litter, Birchkit, was stillborn, leaving little Cedarkit alone. Maplepaw felt sorry that his little sister didn't have a littermate, but it seemed the kit thrived. Cedarkit followed him once she was old enough to walk around, and he would sometimes feel her sleeping in between Oakpaw and himself in the apprentices den. It seemed Cedarkit would be fine without a littermate, and Maplepaw would make sure of that. She had him and Oakpaw to look after her.
By the time his sister was two moons, Cedarkit had become best friends with another apprentice in the den, Duskpaw. Maplepaw didn't know how he felt about that. His little sister got in enough trouble, sneaking out of camp, did she really need a friend that encouraged that behavior? The only upside he saw in this was that Cedarkit no longer was alone on her expeditions. She had someone who at least had some warrior training.
At eleven and a half moons he received his warrior name with his littermate. Oakleaf had pretty much gone her separate ways now, chasing after toms. He was content with doing whatever he was asked. And to this day he is the same, going on patrols, watching his little sister grow, and doing whatever is asked of him. Other: Roleplay Example:

Name:Rookpaw Gender:Tom Age:7 1/2 Moons Clan:ShadowClan Rank:Apprentice Mentor:Yup Love Interest:Not quite... Kin:Whiteflower - Mother (NPC) Darkpelt - Father (NPC) Snowpaw - Brother (Adoptable) Description:
Rookpaw is the complete opposite of his brother, Snowpaw. The two may be brothers, and it would be hard to tell just by looking at them. Snowpaw is white, like the snow during leaf-bare, while Rookpaw is black like the night. Both toms have short, sleek fur which they inherited from both parents. Most of the time his fur is kept neat and clean, but there are times when his black fur turns brown from the dirt and mud he encounters while playing with his brother. He always tries to remember groom his pelt, so that he stays neat and clean, but his memory will escape him sometimes, after a long day's work and will stay dusty brown.
Next we come to his eyes. They are a brilliant golden yellow color that looks very similar to the sun. It's somewhat ironic that a tom as black as night has eyes that look like what a cat sees during the morning.
The tom isn't by far a small cat, but he isn't in the large range either, putting him directly in the middle, the perfect size for his age. Now that he has gone through a moon and a half of training he is becoming quite muscular and it is beginning to show his effort in training. The tom is usually looking toward the ground and slumping so his average size might seem a bit small at first glance.
At the young age of five moons, the tom was battling a little too hard with his brother and received a slash on his back. It continued to get infected with all his rough playing, and eventually left a scar. Although it happened when he was a kit, he likes to think of it as a battle wound.
Personality:
Rookpaw is a sweet little cat, if you can ever get him to open up to you. He is very quiet, hardly speaking to others. He will spoke if asked a question, or if a family member strikes up a question with him. He is always looking for approval from his father, wanting to be praised or just to be acknowledged. He is very good at learning new things, and very attentive to others.
The tom is a good listener, whether to his mentor or to others. Anyone with a problem he will listen to, and he may not have an answer, but he will listen. And he isn't disrespectful at all, he won't interrupt, waiting until the speaker is done, before even thinking about speaking himself.
Though he listens to others, he has trouble expressing his own emotions. He is very cautious and keeps everything to himself. Rookpaw will only express his feelings to his brother, Snowpaw. Even then he still feels awful that he even expresses his hurt and anguish to his brother, it does make him feel a little better. Rookpaw wants to act tough for his dad, but he tends to come off a bit antisocial instead.
History:
Rookpaw was born into ShadowClan to two senior warriors, Whiteflower and Darkpelt. The two warriors had been mates for over twenty moons, but had not thought about kits. Yes, they had been discussed but it was always a brief conversation that always ended with putting them off. It finally came a time when Whiteflower told her mate that she really wanted kits, although Darkpelt would have loved to pass, he knew they were both getting older and his mate really wanted to have kits.
A few moons later Whiteflower gave birth to two sons, Snowkit and Rook-kit. The queen couldn't have been more proud, she was thrilled to see two bundles of fur at her side. Darkpelt, had mixed feelings. He originally was proud to see his two sons, but the doubt kicked in and he didn't want anything to do with them.
Rook-kit grew up with his brother, playing and just enjoying life, oblivious that his father wanted nothing to do with him. He was content with just having his brother and mother around. As he grew, he soon became aware that his father didn't want him, and felt that it was his fault. Rook-kit just wanted his father's approval, and so he became a quiet little kit, who kept his feelings to himself. The only cat he would really talk with was his brother.
Nursery life continued, and soon the two brothers became apprentices. Rookpaw couldn't believe that time had flown so fast and he was eager to start training so that he could prove to his father that he was strong. His father soon approached the two toms and wished for an opportunity back in their lives. Rookpaw was stunned, all his life he had wanted his father to be in his life, but now he was unsure. To this day he still struggles with this decision, and is still quiet and reserved.

Name:Minnowheart Gender:She-cat Age:30 Moons Clan:WindClan Rank:Warrior Apprentice:None Love Interest:Bramblecat, then after he has his way with her, she's open. Kin:Smokeonthewater - Mother (Deceased, NPC) Cornstalker - Father (Deceased, NPC) Onekit - Brother (Deceased, NPC) Twokit - Sister (Deceased, NPC) Redkit - Brother (Deceased, NPC) Bluekit - Brother (Deceased, NPC) Description:
Minnowheart is one beautiful she-cat. She has a base coat color that is bright silver, shining bright and pure in the sun, and it gleams just as beautiful in the moonlight. On top of the silver base is the dark gray spots that cover her entire body. No part of her body is without one of these said spots. The spots are darker and more prominent on the back half of her body, and toward the front they are lighter and scarcer when it comes to her face. On her face, the spots are replaced with the same dark gray color that are now stripes, streaking in between her ears, eyes, and nose. The she-cat is a very slim build, with adequate muscles and long legs, which give her great speed and agility. She has long whiskers, which only make her appearance even more appealing. Long whiskers, lean body, what else could a tom ask for in a mate? The only part of her that is not too long is her tail; it is a fairly average length. Lastly we come to her beautiful eyes. They are a deep green color, and are a lovely contrast to her lighter colored body.
Personality:
Minnowheart is a very lonely she-cat. She has always been alone, having no one to rely on. She has a loud and bubbly personality to try and cover up the fact that she is so lonely. The silver spotted she-cat is always chattering away, thinking it is her only means of having a connection with someone. If she doesn't talk, others would just assume she is too quiet and possibly mute, drowning in her self pity. She doesn't have many friends either, and in a way this is partly her fault. When she thinks she might form a connection with a cat, really beginning to trust them, she pushes them away, trying to connect with others is just hard.
She is quite independent, and yet like most cats has a dependent moment every now and then. She just doesn't like to be left alone. When patrolling, she sticks close to the group, and will only go hunting alone in either desperate times, or when she feels ignored.
Minnowheart longs for contact, for someone to be there for her, to love her. All she wants is to find love, or find someone who cares about her, someone who wants to spend time with her. She is very naive in a sense, and can sometimes be persuaded easily, especially by the few friends she has, or by a tom she is flirting with.
History:
Minnowheart was born thirty moons ago to a ThunderClan tom named Cornstalker and a WindClan she-cat named Smokeonthewater. Her parents didn't have much luck when it came to kits. Their first litter consisted of Onekit and Twokit, a tom and she-cat respectively. Both died of greencough during their third moon. The next litter was welcomed eight moons later. Redkit and Bluekit, both toms, shared similar fates as their older siblings. At two moons both kits passed away to greencough. Smokeonthewater and Cornstalker decided against having any other kits. That is until Minnowkit came twelve moons later. Her mother died, committing suicide, not wanting to see another kit die of greencough, like her four previous kits had. Minnowkit was given to her mother's sister, who had two kits of her own that were close to becoming apprentices.
Minnowkit thrived, and was intended to live with her father in ThunderClan if she survived to her third moon. Plans changed when her third moon was reached and Cornstalker died in an awful accident. Minnowkit was left in WindClan with her aunt, who happily raised the kit as her own. Minnowkit really didn't know any difference, and considered her aunt her mother. It had been all she had known up until this point, and she didn't even know her family's previous plan. The kit was a quiet little thing, and looked just like her aunt, so why not consider her Minnowkit's biological mother? Minnowkit stuck close to her mother, and enjoyed her kithood, playing with the other kits and even her cousins, who were apprentices.
Minnowkit became Minnowpaw at six moons, and was given a mentor that was strict and harsh. Minnowpaw struggled through her training, being pushed hard, and yelled at constantly. Her aunt/mother died the moon before her warrior ceremony, it seemed greencough was the family killer. Minnowpaw became truely alone at this point.
At thirteen moons she was made a warrior and life was pretty much the same. Minnowheart spent a few moons sulking the loss of her family, and despite attempts to drag her out of it nothing/no one could help her. That is until she met her best friend......__________. Minnowheart soon became more social and her talkative streak began. It was her means to stay in contact with everyone, to open up to others and push the lonely into a deep place she didn't want to visit. To this day she is still a bit reluctant to talk to some, but never her best friend.

Name:
Rainkit
Gender:
She-cat
Age:
4 moons
Clan:
RiverClan
Rank:
Kit
Kin:
Specklestorm ~ Mother (Mystic) Stormheart ~ Father (NPC)
Finchnose ~ Brother (Mystic) Clamfang ~ Brother (NPC) Minnowstream ~ Sister (NPC) Smudgewhisker ~ Sister (NPC)
Puddlekit ~ Brother (UFA) Splashkit ~ Brother (Leafy)
Description:
Rainkit is a tiny little thing, but size doesn't matter. Forget that she was the runt of her litter, forget that she is small, she is just as big as any and all of her siblings. Mind over matter is her motto. She acts big, so why can't she pretend she is big? It's the thought that counts, right? Whatever, she's just gonna think what she wants to think and doesn't care what anyone else says. To put it simply, Rainkit is a gray little she-kit with long fur. Her long fur makes her a bit bigger than what she really is. This, she actually likes. It means that she really IS bigger. The only downside to this is being in RiverClan and being in a clan that loves water so much and being so little under that long fur.
Rainkit doesn't mind getting wet, it's just she doesn't like others to see her wet. She's already small with her long-hair, but seeing that fur plastered against her, she looks super tiny. Not really her proudest moments, being wet and little. It's best not to comment around her about this either, she tends to be a little sensitive about this subject. So don't talk to her about her size, unless you want to be chewed into little tiny pieces by her kit teeth. The little fluffball has amber colored eyes, but if you look a little closer you will see they have a greenish tint to them in addition to the amber.
Personality:
Rainkit...oh dear every cat beware for the little terror. That's exactly what she is, a little terror. She is her big brother's companion in crime. Wherever Finchnose is out of camp, Rainkit is never far behind. Rules don't apply to her. She is always the exception to them. The little kit will most likely be killed due to her curiosity. She has her nose into everything and anything she can get into. She HAS to see everything, or she will die. The saying 'Curiosity killed the cat' was made perfectly for this little kit. She just doesn't know when to stop. 'No' doesn't have any meaning to her whatsoever. Her mother can tell her to not do something, and seconds later Rainkit will try her luck and do whatever she was told not to.
She is very unlike her brothers. They both aren't too smart, but Rainkit is brilliant. This little kit can come up with schemes faster than a cat can flick its tail. She could outsmart her littermates easily, she doesn't have much competition anyway. I mean...look at them. She could be highly stupid and still be smarter than both of them put together. But Rainkit really is smart, even if her brother's weren't so stupid. She just tends to use her smartness to be a smartass toward others.
Rainkit is a very rude little kit. She tends to say what comes to mind without thinking. Opinions are what she voices regularly. So get used to it. She will offend anyone, regardless of their rank, she could care less who you are, where you came from. No one will escape her wrath. And just think, she's just four moons old. Imagine what she'll be like as she grows. Like stated a bit earlier she is a smartass. She doesn't care what other cats think of her, except for her size, which she is sensitive of. Though she acts tough, Rainkit is just like her size, tiny. She tries, but doesn't have much success since she is a little runt. Mostly she acts tough to make up for her size.
History:
Rainkit was born in the second litter to her parents Specklestorm and Stormheart. The first litter consisted of four kits, who were all apprentices at the time of Rainkit's birth. In her litter Rainkit was born in the middle of her two brothers. Though she may not be the youngest, she is the runt, no doubt about that. Both her brothers tower over her. Her only other littermates died shortly after birth. It didn't bother Rainkit, she's still Rainkit.
Since she was able to walk, even if it was on unsteady paws, Rainkit followed after her big brother, Finchnose. He is her favorite out of all her siblings, loving when he lets her go with him on adventures. Well...she doesn't care if he wants her to follow or not. She will follow, with or without his approval. Her littermate big brother, Puddlekit, knows not to mess with her. He tried to mess with her like he does Splashkit, but quickly found out Rainkit was no pushover despite her size.
Nothing too significant has happened in her life just yet. She's still just a four moon old kit. Who knows what trouble she will get into within the next few moons.
Roleplay Example:
The warmth of her mother’s fur was so soothing; it almost made the tiny kit not want to get up. It was just so inviting and refreshing. The little kit still had the kit-blue eyes yet had already been in enough trouble for moons to come. It wasn’t her fault she was so naturally curious and shakily walked around the nursery and was disturbing others. She wanted to know how to get out of the nursery, but her mother had grabbed her before her plan had worked. She wasn’t big enough yet. She blinked and looked around. Everyone was sleeping, what a perfect opportunity.
The gray she-kit got on shaky paws and padded out of the nursery, continuing her investigation from the previous day. She didn’t care that she was too young or too little. She wanted to see the cat whom she wanted to be just like. Now where was her big brother? Finchnose couldn’t be far, he had come to visit her a lot, which Rainkit had enjoyed. Squealing with delight as she found her target, the little kit stumbled to reach her big brother. “I wanna go outta camp.” the little kit mewed slowly but surely. She knew she probably wouldn’t last long, but maybe her brother would take her anyway. It would be her first out of camp adventure. She couldn’t wait.
Other:
The Nightpaw of LU. *grins*
And one-third of the 'Ass' kits.
