Name: Lionpaw
Gender: Tom
Age: Eight moons
Clan: RiverClan
Rank: Apprentice
Mentor: Cloverfang
Love Interest: Open
Kin: Heatherpaw
Description: A muscular light golden tabby with light green eyes. Small rounded out ears sit in place of the usual pointed ones. Lionpaw has broad shoulders and powerful feet. Being rather heavy he does not keep too well on his paws and is forever tripping over them. Like most cats he has sharp claws but it isn't the sharpness but the length that make them special. Excellent for hunting and fighting they are long and tiger like. Lionpaw's tail is rather long and has racoon like rings around it. His tail is very useful for balance though it sometimes gets in the way when hunting. Lionpaw’s pelt is long and thick often catching in thorns and brambles and keeping him from leaving a den occasionally. His pelt requires a lot of grooming and takes up much of his time.
Personality: Lionpaw is extremely outgoing, he’ll most likely be the cat to go up and try and make friends. While he can be the sweetest cat you have ever met, he has a fragile self-esteem. This is his greatest weakness because it can make him discouraged and sullen. Any cat that hurts his pride can be ready for a heap of guilt sauce from his sister. Lionpaw can also be very feminine, sometimes his sister wonders if he truly is a tom. Usually Lionpaw is cheerful but if you rub his fur the wrong way his anger boils to the surface. Lionpaw prefers toms but if the right one doesn’t come along he may settle down with a she-cat.
History: Lionpaw had a usual kit hood, he played with his sister and practiced ‘warrior’ skills. Their mother gave him and Heatherpaw her undivided attention. She never took her eyes off them realizing after a few moons that they could get into serious trouble if not watched carefully. When he was six moons old, he became an apprentice, as he should.
Lionpaw’s first gathering was tough; somehow, apprentices from other clans figured out his secret and made fun of him. For those who do not know Lionpaw admires toms, more than another tom should. The other apprentices called him ‘Dandypaw’ and laughed at him. Soon even a few warriors had caught on to the nickname. Lionpaw was ashamed and would not speak to anyone for three days. Not even his sister, Heatherpaw. However, Heatherpaw comforted him and told him he should not be ashamed of who he was, any small thing that was different about him was special. Lionpaw understood but would never live down the nickname Dandypaw, the other clans just wouldn’t let him forget it.
Now that his secret is not so secret anymore, he does not feel like he needs to hide his attraction. He is not a maniac throwing sideways glances at every tom that comes within distance of him. No, he has reserved tastes and is waiting for the right tom to come around.
