Mousy looked over at Yoko as she turned up. Yoko was, as usual, rather hyper, and Mousy was not. Well, not visibly, at least.
"Hiya, Yoko," she said, smiling at the other girl, who looked somewhat worn out. "Yeah, trains are pretty bad when you're in a hurry. And I never knew I could run half a mile so fast," she chuckled, somewhat relieved that her ankle had chosen now to decide to become sore (and therefore that she had needed her stick, which, while not good, was better than having to limp half a mile, and probably damage her ankle further). Gently tapping the fading bruise, which still covered the left side of her face (she hoped she would get rid of it soon), she nodded at Yoko and went to stand on her own, a little way away.

Second was Spore and Sydney had sprouted a broad smile at her friend's arrival and nodded. ”Really exciting! I hope all the babies are cute!” Tilting her head ever so slightly, she gave a sharp nod to Kitty and Mousy. Yep, it really was a great day. And then The White Flag egg, one of Sydney's favorites, began to shake with such vigor the sand around it was flying up in heaps. It rolled this way and that, as if it couldn't make up its mind and, Sydney just couldn't take her eyes off it. Suddenly a leg broke out of the egg and the shell split in half. Inside the egg sat two twin dragons, a red and a blue. Wow, such a tiny egg held twins! Grinning brightly, the tiny teen leaned forward on her toes trying to get a better look of the twins. The twins seemed to be communicating mentally with each other and, Sydney let out a tiny whine as she realized she couldn't exactly get a good look. If only they would come closeerr! The dragons continued on for a moment, before breaking off, the blue nearly knocking his brother over. The red hissed and turned away, circling through the candidates. Finally he neared Kitty and Sydney let out a happy squeak for her friend when she realized what happened. ”Congrats, Kitty!” Waving her friend off, the tiny girl grinned some more and turned back to the clutch. The blue still needed to impress, one gone, eight left. She hoped she got one. And then the blue spoke and, instantly, Sydney felt a great pang of sympathy for the dragon. Poor baby! Everyone really was showing up now and Sydney nodded in greeting to Icy but, her attention was soon caught by The Hero Egg which seemed to be.. jumping? Oh, it was just so excited to be hatching, wasn't it?! Snickering at the eggs antics, Sydney eeped and stumbled back as it exploded, revealing a brown within it. With her eyes on the brown, Sydney failed to notice a blue hatch from The Gentleman Egg that is, until the brown rushed after the blue and started to play with it. Subconsciously, Sydney had to count each egg to figure out where the blue had come from. And then two more eggs hatched! Wow! A blue and bronze- wow! There were so many babies! They needed to impress, and soon, Sydney was getting impatient. Turning round when Yoko ran onto the sand, Sydney let out a sharp laugh. ”Nope! Just lotsa eggs hatching!”Impress, Impress, IMPRESSSSS[/ul]

Well, this was quite a scene. Ivy wrapped her arm around her friend's waist, ignoring the invoulentary flinch she always had when people touched her. "Awesome, so most of us are here?" she said, looking around behind her to see the absence of only one or two. Well, that wasn't good. "They better get here quickly." Ivy said, turning her attention back to the eggs after biting her thumbnail nervously. How terrible would it be to stroll into a hatching to find that all the bebs had Impressed.
She watched with wide eyes as all of the eggs made their debut, someone leaping into the air commanding attention, and others going about their hatching with strategic and elaborate skill. Ivy watched as the hatchlings mingled and play fought with each other, seemingly oblivious of their need to Impress. Ivy wrung her hands as she inspected each one of them, smiling down at the Italian White Flag Blue padded over and sniffed at her, rubbing his headknobs into her kneecap, she resisted the urge to reach down and scoop him up. All he wanted to do was play, why wouldn't his sibling just play along?
The bebs didn't seem to have any desire to find their riders. This was Ivy's first ever hatching, and she couldn't help but wonder if this was normal. Why where they all so indifferent?
Ivy turned and gave Yoko a little wave as she burst in, clearly ecstatic that she had arrived in time, heck, she may even get on of the dragons that hatched ten minutes ago, at this pace. Ivy hoped so dearly that she would Impress, she was nearing the ripe old age of sixteen, and she didn't want to be anything other than a rider.
She knew she'd get a dragon.

My, my! How captivating that hatching was! Icy was glued to her spot, her hazel eyes gazing across each and every newborn dragon. She had completely forgotten about being with her beloved, her precious Dum-Dum pop(I actually call him this on occasion). He acted almost like the brown dragon that hatched from the red and white striped egg with blue spots and white specks. He had almost always acted the same way the larger of the two, the dark blue and the light brown, playing around with her as a third grade student. Well, that was probably the first time she met her soon-to-be crush.
She had been reminded of the way that she and the boy, kind of short and chubby, but still pretty cute, had ran with her. He had gone to Safekey, the program at her old school, on a few days a week, and Icy had pretty much pleaded to go on those days. Well, she and him had roughed each other around, by practicing fighting moves. They would never hurt each other, oh no. She was too gentle with that boy, for the oddest reasons.
She jumped back into reality when the gasps for the two playing had ceased, and she turned her attention toward Syd, who was giving a nod in her direction. Wow, this was much more exciting than she thought! Maybe she would study more on this, and get the hang of it. Hm, that was a thought.
Her attention swerved toward another blue dragon and a bronze one, with the twin blue dragon on the bronze's shoulder. Oh, thank Mew that she never liked happiness that well. It can only get you into trouble, that's what they say anyways...
Time to see where the rest of them go! But wait, I want to see the Winter Egg hatch too! She thought to herself, holding back from leaping out toward the group and snatching one.
Why yes, she had to hold herself back. She was pretty strong, too!

Stupid alarm clock. It was blinking random hours again. Probably the idiotic roommate of hers playing another trick. At least she wasn't awoken at four in the morning by the idiots in the other room banging on the walls. Maybe they finally got a clue. The teenager grinned at the thought. Oh how she longed to get back into her own room and sleep there. She missed her twin brother more than anyone in the world, and just talking to him on the phone wasn't enough. They had been together for sixteen years, and now being separated for three months was awful. Amber missed staying up late with him and watching stupid movies, or playing baseball in the back yard. She even missed him getting the last slice of pizza that she had in her hand and he stole from her.
Sighing she got dressed and ran around in circles looking for where she last put her sneakers. Oh wait, they were sitting on the top shelf. Now how did they get there? Probably the elves again. Rolling her blue eyes she walked out the door and toward the place that would be most amusing.
Looked like she was one of the last to arrive. Oh well, who cared. She was here now. A wide grin soon formed on her face and nothing else seemed to matter as she spotted someone in particular. Amber ran and bowled into Spike, sitting on her. "Guess who!" she grinned. Best. Game. Ever. Looking around she blink. "Hey everyone." she added.

((THIS POST IS SO LONG, OMG D: You guys don't have to read it all if you don't want to. XD))
The Winter Egg started to shake. It had been the most still out of all its siblings so far, but now it was shuddering, shivering against the cold of its shell as it suddenly jumped to life. All of its siblings were hatched and having fun without him, and he wanted to join them too. No more being alone, no more being cold. Slowly the egg started to crack, only an inch at a time. It was a very slow process; the crack in the shell grew bit by bit and it seemed as if the dragon was taking its time hatching. Slowly but surely the egg broke and shuddered, increasing in intensity. Then at last claws broke through. Two huge paws on opposite sides of the hole peeled the shell back with such strength it made it look like the shell had been little more than a thin sheet.
Like a snake shedding its skin, the dragon emerged easily from the egg, having left it intact except for the rather large hole that had been torn to allow it freedom. As it stretched and shook the egg goo from its hide, an uneasy silence settled over the crowd of candidates and onlookers. This dragon was massive, much larger than any bronze that had hatched on these sands. In fact it looked too large to have been able to fit in its egg, despite having the largest egg out of the clutch. But that was not all; aside from the size of the hatchling, the first thing that was noticed about it was its color. The dragon was white. A very pale, washed out color, some wondered if this dragon was an overgrown white. But that wasn't possible, because he was simply too big to be any sort of white. And he did have some bits of color; a tan-bronze color on his head, legs and tail. That led most to the conclusion that this was a very unusual bronze.
The Russian Winter Bronze looked around, cold eyes taking in everything around him. Strangely, though, his eyes and his expression seemed distant and icy but his body language hinted that he was very happy. He lifted his huge frame up and began padding around the sands, poking things, sniffing things, investigating everything. He seemed to be a curious dragon, taking an interest in everything around him. What a sweet thing, despite its scary appearance. He passed briefly by the candidates, nudging Ivy and Spore, and giving a long stare in Syd's direction. Then he flicked his bronze-tipped tail and padded away, now going to investigate his clutchmates.
The other dragonets stopped whatever they were doing when the bronze approached them. Some ignored the Russian Winter Bronze, others looked hostile and growled a bit at the sight of the large dragon. It was obvious that he was not well liked, but the white bronze simply brushed off their hostility and went on his own way. He looked curiously at the shattered remnants of the White Flag egg, sniffing it a bit. But he didn't stay for long, for the nearby German Soldier Bronze growled at him, leaning protectively toward his two companions. The Japanese Solitude blue narrowed his eyes at the large bronze for a long moment, not as openly aggressive yet just as distrusting. The Italian White Flag blue didn't seem to realize what was going on; he sat where he was happily and didn't acknowledge the Winter bronze.
The bronze cheerily chirped something to the group, making the darker bronze growl even more, but the white bronze was already moving on. He moved toward the Hero egg next and gave it a curious look as well. Instead of just passing by it, though, something dark appeared over his already icy expression. With a malicious scowl he lashed out a paw at the remains of the striped egg, effectively shattering it completely. The Russian Winter bronze let out a frightening roar and twisted around, now skulking across the sands as he headed for his next destination. The Melancholy egg caught his attention; the bright red shell was quietly shaking and even starting to crack in places. He nudged it lightly and a sharp protest emanated from the small egg. It didn't seem to like his presence, but the bronze still stayed there, just watching it. The dragon's strange behavior drew confused murmurings from the crowd, and some went back to watching the other hatchlings while the bronze still sat by the egg, not moving from his spot. Then the Winter bronze finally moved away from the Melancholy egg, now making his way toward where the American Hero brown and the English Gentleman blue still sat.
The brown gave a wary look and hissed as the bronze passed, and the bronze stopped to look at him. Hello, he chirped, the light, childlike voice drifting out not only to the one it was intended to but to everyone listening. It was a very unusual voice that one would not expect for a dragon such as him, but it was undeniable who the sound was coming from.
What do you want?
The brown growled back, also not hiding his voice. The blue shot him an irritated look, but the brown ignored him, instead facing up to the much larger hatchling. What do you mean? The bronze replied, innocence in his voice. Don't you want to play with me? A game sounds fun, doesn't it?Play with you? The brown snorted. No thanks. Why don't you go Impress or something?Something flashed over the white dragon's face. But I don't want to! Why won't you play with me?The American Hero brown didn't respond, instead turning his head to say something to the blue beside him. The bronze backed up a bit, shaking his head at his sibling who was now ignoring him, and turned to walk away. But after taking only two steps, something changed in his mind. A furious look had come over his face and in seconds he had whipped back around and leaped at the brown. The brown released a shriek but was soon cut off as the two hatchlings were locked in a violent fight. The English Gentleman blue backed away from the screeching mass of brown and white, unable to do anything but watch. The fighting drew the attention of the other group of hatchlings as well. The bronze and the pale blue stared at the fighting dragons but didn't move from their spots. The Italian White Flag blue, however, looked terrified at the sight. He whimpered and backed closer to his bronze companion, but still the fighting did not stop. Unable to handle being there any longer, he jumped up from his spot without warning and ran toward the candidates. It was still clear he had never chosen who his rider was, for he simply Impressed to the first girl he unintentionally ran into. YellowMine! Take me away, I do not like the fighting! It's so scary... "Italian White Flag Blue" Felicith
"In my right hand is a white flag! In my left hand is pasta~! Wave your flag, wave your flag, it's a flag-waving parade! Towards the enchanting world, andiamo!
Take our hands, make a circle, spin, and it's the world With my sparkling boots, I'm in the best condition! Verde, bianco, rosso è tricolore Even if I'm shot at, I won't get discouraged! He-ta-li-a
Ahh! A lot of girls have come to see me! Veee~ Bella, bella, ciao~ Ciao ciao~ Uwawawah! Wait a second! Wait a second! I'm coming back now!" Rank: Blue Impress To: Yellow Code: 23edef Description:Despite having shared an egg with his twin, Felicith stole the spotlight from the beginning with his personality showing through the egg over Romanoth's grumpy attitude. And likewise, this blue continues to attract attention wherever he goes. Average as far as blues go, Felicith has a slim frame well suited to quick bursts of speed and performing sharp maneuvers in the air. He is a bit lanky, with long legs and wings a bit oversized, and it's unknown wither he will grow into them or not. His tail is average as is the rest of him, leaving little else to say about his appearance in terms of build. However there is plenty to say about his attitude. He carries himself in a very happy way, always having a bit of a skip in his walk and a grin on his face. Even when he's sad there will always be a recognizable bounce to his step, always marking him even if one could not tell it was Felicith from his cheerful attitude.
His hide color is a very pleasant blue. Not too light and not too dark, it seems to be right in the average range for a blue dragon. But even so, the blue is far from usual. It is a wonderful shining sky blue, a color that speaks of innocence and optimism. It is a blue that covers most of his hide with little difference in shade, however there are other markings besides those in blue. His muzzle and each of his four paws seem to be faded to white as if they were dipped in clouds, the color not a pure white but more of a fluffy coating of light coloration. Unfurling his wings will reveal a remarkable pattern of white... sparkles on the undersides. And lastly, just like his twin, Felicith's headknobs are a darker color than the rest of his hide. They look so unusual that you just want to reach out and touch them, although something tells you that might not be a very good idea. Mindvoice:Light and cheerful, a voice that will make you want to smile and dance and sing until you collapse from exhaustion and fall asleep. It is a voice that will warm your heart and pick you up when you're feeling sad. Felicith is easily the most happy and energetic of the clutch, and that shows true in his voice. The charming Italian accent has a spacey air to it, making it obvious that his mind is never 100% there. And honestly, this blue is not that intelligent. He is quite oblivious and has a bad habit of slacking off or getting distracted when he's supposed to be doing something important. But nonetheless, few can deny the charm this bubbily dragon has. He simply loves everyone and just wishes to be loved himself, and it will be hard to find a person this life-loving dragon can't bring to smile. Like his twin, Felicith can't resist a pretty face. Whenever there's a female around, he's guaranteed to be seen flirting, especially when there's something else important needing to be done. Personality:Cheerful, energetic, distracted, oblivious, cowardly [x] The Melancholy Egg was now starting to shake more as well, without regard to the conflict currently on the sands. The crack on its shell that had already been present before was now more prominent, becoming larger with each rock back and forth as it moved around. It hatched in an energetic way, bouncing a bit as it shook, but was more quiet and not as obnoxious as the Hero egg had been. It simply hatched its own way. The egg then split open, dividing apart right at the large crack, peeling in half as the dragon emerged yet the shell crumbled as it fell back onto the sands. The Chinese Melancholy Blue took a moment to look around and gave onlookers a chance to see its interesting hide. Dark blue, mostly, but there were strange red tints on his front paws and chest, and even more interesting were lighter blue markings all down his belly, wings and tail. He took a few steps, revealing a very feminine frame and a sway to the way he walked. If it weren't for his hide color it would be assumed that this dragon was female, but he was most certainly a blue. He took one look toward the fighting American Hero brown and Russian Winter bronze, made a scoffing sound, and turned toward the candidates. I cannot believe those two are fighting, Mousy, His voice- even his voice was feminine!- sounded in the mind of only one candidate in particular. It's so immature. Why can't they just mind their own business? Impressing is what we're supposed to be doing after all, isn't it? Sitting in front of the girl, he looked up at her as his eyes now whirled rainbow colors of Impression. I do not wish to be here any longer. Let's go now, Yaoth is hungry."Chinese Melancholy Blue" Yaoth
"When I wake up, I cannot be beaten, aru! As brave as a lion My state of selflessness is dyed red, aru. Depend on me at any time Ai yaa yaa…
The wind runs through this vast land Proudly, like a dragon The star that is suspended on the red is flown high And shines on us, aru Ai yaa yaa…
In the grief of this unending world Why is it that people fight, aru! Regardless of the injury, the day it will heal will come, aru. Leave everything to me! Ai yaa yaa… " Rank: Blue Impress To: Mousy Code: 558dc1 to 87b5e0 Description:Though small as far as blues go, only slightly larger than his brother of the Solitude egg, Yaoth is no less noticeable than the others. His features are not as obvious and in-your-face than his siblings but they are most certainly there. In addition to his small build he has a rather feminine frame, lean and skinny without the muscle that other male dragons have. Blues are traditionally more agile and speedy than higher ranked males, however even they still have quite a bit of muscle compared to greens. Yaoth seems to be entirely feminine in appearance, though, the color of his hide being the only thing obvious about his gender.
The blue itself is a deep shade, mostly a single, uniform blue over the whole hide. It is a murky blue, yet the small amount of variation in the blue itself leaves that aspect of the color often overlooked. His head and chest have a darker shade of blue to them which fades into the main color and the topsides of his wings are a bit darker as well. His chest and front left paw have a dark red tint to them, a very strange marking for a blue yet there nonetheless. But the most startling thing to note about Yaoth's appearance are the intricate, lighter blue designs all down his hide. Starting at his neck ridges and flowing downward over hid body down to his tail and his outer wings, the elegant markings draw more eyes than any other feature about him. MindvoiceVery... feminine, to say the least. Yaoth's voice is one that might be mistaken for a green's when first heard because it is very light in tone. High-pitched, no, but certainly the softest voice out of his clutchmates. It has an air of tenderness about it, a voice that is confessing its sorrows to you and yet is sympathetic. A voice that is cute and charming when happy and heavy with grief when sad. Yaoth certainly has a beautiful voice, if that can be said of a male dragon. And despite being feminine, it carries much wisdom and experience with it, being a voice sounding as if its owner has lived through thousands of years and seen more hardships than one can comprehend. There is true strength in this voice, yet there is always something troubling it. And there is something else peculiar about his voice... it is only slightly noticeable but if you listen carefully, the ends of his sentences seem to have a stretched 'a' sound, followed by 'r'... it almost sounds as if he's saying 'aru' at the end of every sentence. But he couldn't be doing it on purpose, could he? Personality:Reserved, artistic, cheerful, nostalgic [x][/blockquote]

Yoko watched the newly hatched and humongous Bronze-White dragonet make its way along the sands. It was by far the largest dragonet she had ever seen. Larger than even some Gold Hatchlings, some. She watched it glide amongst its siblings, unsure of how she herself felt about it.
She glared at the Siblings being so openly hostile to the oversized Dragon-babe. He may be large, but he still looked rather cute and childish. Occasionally a dark shadow would pass across the Bronze's face and that would give Yoko a shiver of understanding the fears of the other dragons.
Still, she was tempted to crack her knuckles and threaten the other Dragonets to play nice with their Big, Slightly Sinister, Bronze Brother.
The candidate was distracted, and sorely disappointed, at the American Hero Brown who was being so openly hostile and rude to the Russian Winter Bronze. It was always a shame to see too impressive dragons not getting along. The fight was almost a deal breaker. If she didn't know that these two could rip her limbs off, she would have gotten a stick and tapped both their snouts with it!
But the fight wasn't a total waste. It seemed that the Italian White Flag Blue had been inspired to impress to Yellow out of fear of being drawn into the fight. Also, the the Melancholy Egg had decided to hatch. One look at the brawl was enough to send it off to impress to Mousy.
Yoko just stood there. She was rather fond of all the eggs, and she was a bit worried that the Russian Bronze, having been so mistreated, might Between.

Mousy said, nodding at the girl to whom the Blue had just impressed. The poor thing looked rather terrified, and, well, with all the fighting, she couldn’t blame it. She wasn’t so much a fighter, either. Suddenly, her attention was caught by the Melancholy Egg. Fascinated, she turned to look. The egg was shaking more than it had been before, and the crack down the shell, bouncing a bit as it shook - not like the Hero Egg had, but more gently. The egg then proceeded to split open, the shell simply peeling away and falling on to the sane as the dragon within revealed itself. It was a pretty little blue, which looked very… Mousy would probably say, “Even with my lack of observational skills and presently lack of a left eye, he looks like a girl,” which, translated, meant, effeminate. It had elegant markings, darker blue than the dark-blue majority of his hide, lighter-blue markings down his belly, wings and tail, and mysterious reddish markings on his front paws and his chest. He took one look at the fighting American Brown, English Blue and Russian Bronze, and proceeded to disown his siblings - as a matter of fact, that was what Mousy did when in a bad mood: disowned her friends. Mousy chuckled as he ambled towards the candidates in a very feminine manner. I cannot believe those two are fighting, Mousy. She heard a soft, kind voice in her head, a voice that sounded as though it had found a million conflicts - she knew instantly that it was in her head - and blinked. Had… Had a Beb actually impressed to her?! She discovered that one, indeed, had. A small blue (the one that had hatched from the Melancholy Egg, as a matter of fact) was sitting before her, staring up at her with a very dignified look on its face. Dignified, but not snooty, like some humans (and, indeed, dragons) had looked at her. She blinked. The first thing to go through Mousy’s mind was shock. Complete and utter shock. She allowed herself to make a quiet squeaking sound, and then nodded at the blue. It's so immature. Why can't they just mind their own business? Impressing is what we're supposed to be doing after all, isn't it? he continued, and Mousy instantly knew that this blue had his priorities right. Although, each to their own, she supposed, but snapped out of that thought and smiled down at the blue, nodding. Yes. Each to their own, though. He seemed to agree with this statement, which pleased Mousy somewhat. She didn’t know why. It just did. Then again, she rarely got agreed with, so fair enough. Some to think of it, she rarely even got believed, like when… No. As she shook that thought out of her head, the dragonet continued with his comment: I do not wish to be here any longer. Let's go now, Yaoth is hungry.Heh. Yaoth certainly - no, definitely - had his priorities right. Too right, Mousy said. Let’s go, Yaoth, she chuckled.[/ul]

Yellow could only watch with shock as the brown and the bronze hatchlings suddenly went at each other. Before she had been quietly chatting with a few of her friends, admiring the already hatched dragons and wondering when they would Impress. But the screeching she heard from the direction of the two fighting dragonets had stolen her attention, and she couldn't do anything as the dragons tried to tear each other apart, and seemingly for no reason.
She hadn't even noticed the blue dragonet break away from his siblings. She had been unaware of anything else that was going on and didn't have any warning before the frightened voice of Felicith entered her head. YellowMine! Take me away, I do not like the fighting! It's so scary... Suddenly she was frightened too, and she couldn't tell whether the emotions were coming from herself or from this small dragon who was cowering pitifully in front of her. He nuzzled her slightly, shivering, and seemed to try to hide behind her and away from his fighting siblings. C-can we go, please?
Well, that was it. Impression was made suddenly, with her barely even realizing it, and Yellow bent down to scratch Felicith's brightly colored head. "Sure. I don't like this fighting either, to be honest." She replied, then standing up and glancing one last time toward the clutch. Another blue had hatched and Impressed to her friend Mousy, and Yellow smiled at her for her luck. "Congrats!" she called over as Mousy left the stands, then started to walk off herself. The little blue gave a tiny skip and started to run ahead. Oh, he missed his bronze brother already but, he didn't want to be around here any more. He would be sure to find him again as soon as this scary episode was over. And he had something to eat.
While two more dragons had Impressed, the dangerous situation on the Sands still hadn't changed. If anything, it had only gotten worse. The American Hero brown and the Russian Winter bronze were locked in a tangle of brown and white, letting out furious screeches and kicking up sand as they rolled around in their fight. The entirety of the hatching grounds was silent with shock, for no one dared to step forward to try to break up the fight. The young dragons looked ready to kill, and it was obvious that any human who approached would get badly mauled as well. However it wasn't obvious who was winning; neither side seemed to be backing down and it seemed that it would continue on for some time. Ichor stained the sands and the dragons' claws, but still the fight continued.
Well, the rest of the hatchlings seemed to be getting worried. Most notably the English Gentleman blue, who had gone from staring with shock to pacing in worry. Occasionally he would step forward as if to intervene, but thought better of getting in between the larger dragons and instead continued to back up. It was a few minutes later, however, when a sudden shriek came from the brown. With a startled sound he soon forgot trying to stay away and jumped right into the chaos.
The blue wouldn't stand a chance, everyone could see that. The German Soldier bronze and the Japanese Solitude blue seemed to realize this, and after a brief discussion they both rose to their feet at the same moment. Within seconds they had leaped in as well, showing the first real care for their other siblings since they'd hatched. The whirlwind of colors continued for a while more, until eventually separate sides started to appear. The dark bronze had gotten ahold of the larger Russian Winter bronze as was holding him back surprisingly well. The two blues had pulled away the American Hero brown, who now everyone could see was ichoring heavily. The Winter bronze was injured as well but it seemed the brown was worse off.
The Winter bronze continued to thrash angrily, growling and snapping at the male who was restraining him. The Japanese Solitude blue abandoned his hold and went to help his friend, leaving the darker blue and the brown on their own. The English Gentleman blue gently nudged the brown, who growled irritably and moved away from the touch. Then, despite his injuries, he got to his shaky paws, shot a glare in the direction of the Russian Winter bronze, then huffed and began to pad toward the candidates. The blue hissed after the brown ('So you're just going to walk away? After I was worried about you? Well fine then, I don't care anyway.') and sat stubbornly, curling his tail around himself and glancing warily in the direction of the others.
Ichor dripped down in a trail on the sands as the dragonet walked, but the brown still held his head high as he approached the candidates. After weaving among them for a bit he seemed to deliberate, but in the end he'd known who was His from the start. He didn't waste much time before he found the human he wanted. Yoko! I don't know what's wrong with that guy, seriously, He shook his head before twisting around and facing the girl. But whatever, I'm getting out of here. I'm starving. So let's go.
"American Hero brown" Alfredth
"Now then, let’s combine forces to solve the world’s problems one by one! Tell me, the hero, your ideas! We can surely do it! We’ll surely be okay! Yes, we can! Come on, you should all join us!
I’m going to announce everyone’s assignment! Let’s see… first off, England, I want you to be my backup Next, France will be my backup, And China will be my backup! Eeh... Lastly, Russia has an important role to play: Being my backup! That’s all! Huh? What am I going to do? That’s a good question! Of course, I’m going to be the hero!" Rank: Brown Impress To: Yoko Code: c18c27
Description:Rather good looking is what most people would admit when looking at Alfredth. Build wise, he is a bit long and lanky compared to the traditional solid frame browns usually have. In fact his body seems to be a bit odd for him, appearing as if he is having trouble getting used to moving in his own skin. Like a teenager, he looks a bit awkward, despite really being completely comfortable in his body. Actually, "teenaged" would describe quite a bit about Alfredth, not just his build. But more will be explained about that in his mindvoice. Nonetheless, he is a handsome dragon, and females will attest to that. His limbs and wings, aside from being a bit longer than expected, are perfectly normal and functional, which will make him a speedy and capable dragon in flight and Threadfall.
His primary color is a light, almost orange-brown. Still perfectly normal for a brown, but not as dark as the average shade for a brown's color. It is a smooth color, spread evenly over his hide without much variation, but still attractive in its simplicity. His neck and tail ridges are a lighter, tan-brown, and the same light color appears on a stripe starting under his jaw and going all the way down the underside of his tail. The most interesting thing about Alfredth is the pattern of stripes on the undersides of his wings. The neat, organized stripes lay neatly on his wings and overall make him and the rest of his markings look very handsome. Mindvoice:Many people are so intrigued by this brown's handsome, if a bit odd, appearance that they are unprepared for the type of voice that he has. Alfredth's voice is, quite honestly, annoying and obnoxious. Many can't stand to hear his voice for any length of time, although in its defense, it compliments his personality perfectly. It is loud, in your face, and can not be ignored. The American accent this dragon has only adds on to its quality of being irritating, a voice that can get under your skin. Females who seem to like him at first will generally be put off by his voice. Some won't mind his voice (or just come to ignore it) but for the most part he is purely irritating to other dragons as well as humans. Not that he seems to mind or notice. Personality:Loud, Cheerful, Annoying, Conceited, Oblivious

After Alfredth and his new bonded left the sands, the Russian Winter bronze finally seemed to calm down. He shoved away the two dragons who were still holding him back, shook himself out and huffed before turning toward the candidates as well. He really didn't want to Impress, but his siblings were so mean to him and he really did not like them. His thoughts echoed out to all the candidates as he paced, before he finally decided to head toward the humans. The massive hatchling stalked among the candidates, brushing against some with his cold hide, prodding some, and even whipping some of them with his tan-tipped tail. While his thoughts were now happy again, his body language certainly didn't match, and he seemed to have no regard for personal space as he moved among the crowd. At last, after circling though the crowd a good several times, he came up behind a certain girl and nudged her to the side, giving himself room to walk around her. Then he sat, barely having to look up at the small girl as his eyes whirled rainbow. Sydney... you will never be mean to me, yes? No, of course not... because you are Mine. The light, cheery voice said. Now, you will feed Ivanth, because he is very hungry."Russian Winter bronze" Ivanth
"The height of the blizzard Puts splotches on the moon Frightened of the wind
My instinct, awakened By the calling of the crow I begin to move…!
Goodbye From here on I don't understand Goodbye Shaking off my emotions To see through the origins of good and evil I am changing! And so I sing to the world…" Rank: Bronze Impress To: Sydney Code: c8b573, ffffff Description:This bronze is a monster. With a massive body of pure bulk and muscle and a hide that has faded to be almost completely white, he is a dragon who will haunt your nightmares, one that you will always feel frightened around no matter how well you know him, and one you will always be watching out for when you glance behind your shoulder. As stated before, Ivanth is huge for a bronze. In fact even though his egg was the largest of the clutch, it's hard to believe that he was able to fit inside it. He is not only big boned, but more muscled than others of his rank. A long, thick neck, towering limbs and massive wings all attribute to a dragon looking much too large than is physically possible. He has an intimidating aura about him, one that seems to terrorize everyone who sees him, even if he's not in a particularly murderous mood. It's just a strange quirk that he has, not that there's anything about Ivanth that is normal.
If it's not his size that first frightens you, then it will certainly be his coloring. Ivanth's hide is almost all white, starkly different from his siblings or any other bronze alive. He looks more like a white than a bronze, and if it weren't for his monstrous size it would actually be more believable. However the white is a ghostly, washed-out color, looking less like it is natural and more like the color had been bleached from his hide. Perhaps it was the cold of the egg that caused the dragon inside to lose his color, no one knows. There are bits of color on his hide that weren't completely faded away, though. His legs, face and tail all have a sandy bronze color to them, pale and faded yet still there against the white. He is most definitely a bronze, no one can deny that, but at the same time it's rather hard to believe with the hide that he has. Mindvoice:And if it's not his size or his unusual coloring that scare you when you see Ivanth, then it will be his voice. Ivanth's voice is the opposite of what would be expected of a bronze, especially one of his size. Instead of a deep, commanding voice full of power and confidence, this bronze's voice is high, childlike and innocent, completed oddly with a thick Russian accent. When you first hear it you're stunned that such a voice could belong to such a dragon, and then you begin to let your guard down. Because a dragon with such a sweet, unassuming voice could not possibly be as dangerous as he appears. And that's where you would be wrong. Because even though Ivanth's voice sounds like a young child's, there is something else lurking underneath its sweet surface. Something dark and twisted lies there, unnaturally violent and cruel without a care for anything but itself. If this other nature to his voice comes out, there's little you can do except to cower in fear and hope that Ivanth doesn't decide to do anything incredibly horrible to you. Because in all honesty, he probably would. So it's best not to get on his bad side in the first place. Personality:Intimidating, Childlike, Cruel, Violent [x] [/blockquote]

Rubbing the back of her head with her right hand, she gazed upon the fight that brewed. It was frightening that the Winter Bronze just turned around and leapt into battle after just talking with the brown. Her focus was not directly on the fight, however, it was toward the dark blue dragon. He was unable to help his more favored sibling, for he would be dead if he got in there!
She gave a sigh of relief when the fight broke apart, even though both the Brown and Bronze were injured, the smaller of the two hurt more. She had stood, shocked, when the dark blue was trying to help the brown, but he shook the smaller off. How cruel! Did he have issues dealing with not needing help when it is needed? Icy turned away, but looked over her shoulder as the brown Impressed to Yoko. "Nice Yoko!" she called, smirking. If she knew that the dragon acted like her love, then he would be quite annoying.
She completely spinned back toward the rest as the Bronze began to search for his 'Mine'. It seemed his eyes feasted on Syd, and that she was to be his. "Congrats to you too Syd!" she congratulated, grinning yet scared. What if she didn't Impress? Or what if she got Impressed to the... one from the Rose Egg? She shuddered, glancing over the remaining dragonetts. Two blue, a light and dark, and a Bronze. Not to mention whichever comes from the last egg.

One moment, there had been several hatchlings out on the Sands, the next moment there was a huge fight erupting in front of the candidates. At the start, the hatched dragonets had remained calm, until the Winter Egg began to shudder and shake. The egg was large and imposing, frightening even. Yes, Sydney remembered touching the large egg before. She recalled that feeling that had overcome her- Yes, that egg was frightening. The dragonet that hatched however was far more frightening then the egg it hatched from. It was a beast of bronze, if you could even call it that, it was far more white then bronze. Despite it's frightening appearance, however, it seemed to be very curious. It was poking and prodding things with its big nose, chirping happily to himself. Aw, it wasn't too bad. Sydney was just going to have to remind herself not to judge a book by its cover, this beast of a dragon was surely not as frightening as his egg made him out to be. After a moment he passed by the candidates, nudging Sydney's two friends, Ivy and Spore, and then giving herself a long, hard stare. It was rather unsettling but, Sydney shook it off. This bronze was sweet, after all! The other hatchlings, however, did not seem to like the large bronze. As he approached his siblings, all the others seemed to stop suddenly, some even growling at the poor bronze. The brown though, seemed to dislike him the most. The two were talking for a moment, loud enough for everyone to hear, and the Bronze seemingly really wanted to play with his sibling. The brown however, was having none of it and, when he denied the bronze's request, Sydney felt her blood chill, if only for a moment. There had been a look on the bronze's face... But, perhaps it was only a look, for, the Bronze began to move away after being ignored by his brother- No, no it was not just a look. Without warning, the bronze snarled and whipped around, leaping at his smaller, brown brother. It was a horribly violent fight, and Sydney just couldn't take her eyes off it. And that brings us back to where we started off at, with Sydney freaking out, trying to keep herself from shrieking for someone anyone to stop the fight. No no no no! Don't hurt each other! Her mind was so enthralled in the fight, she didn't even notice two of her friends impressing. If she noticed later on, she'd congratulate them. As the fight continued, Sydney's eyes never left the tangle of white and brown. Fortunately, however, the other hatchlings proceeded to intervene, pulling the brown and the bronze off each other. That poor brown was ichoring heavily, and Sydney couldn't help but let out a tiny whine as she looked the poor thing over. The brown however, did not seem to want any sympathy, for it moved quickly, finding His as soon as he could. Well then, good for Yoko. Now that the brown, Alfredth, had impressed, the washed out Bronze seemed to have calmed down. He was frightening looking, now, though. Before he had seemed sweet, cute even but, now... There was something wrong with that Bronze. His cheerful voice only added to his unsettling air. Every time he circled through the candidates, Sydney could feel her blood run cold. Who would he impress to? Would he impress? When would he impress? Him circling around was certainly unsett- Sydney nearly shrieked as she felt something nudge her to the side, and, she could feel the goosebumps grow across her skin as the bronze moved in front of her. Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no- Sydney... you will never be mean to me, yes? No, of course not... because you are Mine. And, just like that, impression was made but, the fear, the slight unsettling fear that pricked beneath her skin did not leave. Now, now she was Ivanth's and he was... well, she was his, anyway. Now, you will feed Ivanth, because he is very hungry.Giving a shaky smile, the tiny girl nodded, reaching out to pet the hatchling's headknob and, then, drawing back suddenly, as if touching her bonded would hurt her. Oh, what's wrong, Mine? His face was cheery and curious, as was his voice but, Sydney was still rather unsettled. She had to stop herself from shrieking. “Oh, n-nothing! Come on, Ivanth, let's go get you that food...”The large hatchling grinned, leaping to his feet. Yay!They walked off together, Ivanth leading the way. [/ul]

What a fight! Of course the candidate did not want either of the handsome dragonets to between. But what a fight! That Bronze was fierce, but the Brown was holding his own. Yoko crossed her fingers and hoped it would survive. She would gladly have interfered if these were puppies but they weren't. They were dragons! With teeth and claws and memories...they would remember who broke them up if they were broken up. It was disheartening. It seemed the fighting would simply not end. And it that Brown (kept its heart bless its little dragon soul) was definitely weakening physically. The English Blue seemed reluctant to help but desired to do so. Before she knew what was happening, the German Bronze and Japanese Blue jumped into the mix and efficiently broke up the fight. The little Brown had not lost his spirit. But slunk off all the same. It had not occurred to Yoko that the dragonet intended to impress. But suddenly it was before her. Yoko! I don't know what's wrong with that guy, seriously. It took a moment before it bothered looking at her. But whatever, I'm getting out of here. I'm starving. So let's go.Yoko winced and smiled. Now there was the loud rambunctious egg personality shining through in the brown. She took a moment to examine his gorgeously striped wings. Yes, this was her dragon. The little hero who dared to fight the big bully bronze instead of running away in fear. Speaking of which, the Bronze had moved on to impress....Sydney! Yoko smiled and nodded in congratulations. Alfredth pawed at her. Yoko! Pay attention to ME!"Yes, yes, let's go eat. Bye everyone!"They took a long arching curve away from Sydney and the Russian Bronze, Ivanth. Pfft! I'll be stronger than him one day!Yoko patted him. "Of course you will. After all...I've always dreamed of conquering Russia. >"ooc; *shot* XD

I whispered, and glanced sidelong at the large bronze and brown who didn't seem to like each other very much. Then I flinched and took a few involuntary steps back as the two powerful dragons began to fight. This wasn't the way hatchings were supposed to be! What if someone got seriously hurt? But eventually help arrived. The other dragonets who had already hatched jumped in to intervene, the blue who had been pacing earlier leading the charge. So brave, I thought, and only stared as the two were eventually separated, two blues dragging back the brown while a darker bronze held his lighter brother. My heart was pounding in my chest, and I felt jittery from adrenaline that had been pumped into my bloodstream when the fighting started. It had taken so much not to hide behind some of the others, or abandon the Sands entirely! But at least the two combatants had chosen Theirs, and wouldn't need to fight any longer. As two of my best friends Impressed, I worried for them, but also felt my own eyes light up with pleasure. "Bye Yoko!" I said, "Bye Syd! Good luck."[/ul]
